‘Reflex’, the second iteration of An Exhibition in Four Acts, amplifies and subverts problems and restraints ever-present within the processes of art-world labour.

The exhibition features works by artists Yuval Rosinger, Isabelle Rudolph, Benjamin Stephens, Kenneth Suico, Christopher Weir, Pascale Dawson, Guy Grabowsky, Georgie North, Emma Woodhams-Bertozzi and Casey Jeffrey, showcasing their responses to the curatorial framework of contributing ‘a work on A2 paper’, devised by curators Tahney Fosdike and Sophie Prince. The exhibition embodies conversations which occured throughout the planning process, under the mentorship of artist Katie Lee, such as exploring the productive and crippling capacities of restraints, roles and problems within the art world.

An Exhibition in Four Acts is an inter-school collaboration project between the Master of Art Curatorship and VCA Fine Art Honours programmes that is facilitated, initiated and supported by ACP Projects.
