I asked five friends ‘What was the breaking point that made you go, “Ok, I am packing my things and moving to Melbourne. This is my plan for the future”?’ Inspired by the game ‘Consequences’ that I played obsessively as a preteen, I compiled their responses by dissecting and joining at points they crossed over to reveal socioeconomic and cultural structures that drive people from one city to the next.
